Job description

Must be able to communicate with all vendors and employees, and demonstrate good customer service to all personnel. Must be able to use hand signals and have both written and verbal skills. The candidate must have the ability to operate scales and check them for accuracy, and able to use Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Salary Range: $21.00 to $26.00 Hourly Shift Hours: 9:00pm to 5:00am: Essential Functions: - Perform office work, including using telephone and computers. - Answer telephone and radio. - Communicate professionally with truck drivers. - Prepares and handles documents, i.e., daily and monthly reports. - Record railcar numbers. - Operate scales to record weights of all vehicles. - Communicate professionally with other departments by phone. - Handle mail. - File documents. - Enter data into computer. - Maintain computerized and manual logs of cars in yard. - Compare bills with list of cars. - Keep track of supplies needed for all scale houses. - Other duties as assigned.
