HVAC Service Technician Department: Service: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Plattsburgh, NY: Reporting To: HVAC Service Manager: Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 / hour Description: Job Summary: Alliance Group is seeking a Full-time HVAC Service Technician based out of our Plattsburgh, NY operations center. This is a field-based position responsible for the routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of residential and commercial HVAC and related mechanical systems. This includes mini splits, boilers, refrigeration systems, oil and propane burner systems, chillers, package rooftops, and more. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and high-level customer service. Key Responsibilities: Role-Specific Duties: - Determine diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations for HVAC/R systems - Safely perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance routines. - Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
