Job description
PURPOSE: The purpose of the National Product Sales Manager position is to support sales and marketing efforts for specific product segments. The National Product Sales Manager will develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets, as well as being responsible for product and/or account strategies. The National Product Sales Manager will be the primary resource in product planning and launch, and will be responsible for sustaining all aspects of the product’s lifecycle. This position will also have planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure market share penetration and a high level of customer satisfaction ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Set targets for specific SMC products by quantity and sales dollars for assigned product group - Document sales calls, projects, opportunities, contacts, success reports and activity in CRM - Conduct any necessary market research and identify industry trends and needs - Plan and participate in product promotion, as well as customer technical assistance - Conduct any necessary competitive analysis and suggest pricing strategies - Work closely with Marketing and Engineering to clearly define market requirements for new and existing products...
