As part of the team, these positions provide a clean, healthy and therapeutic environment for the patients and staff by meeting agency cleanliness standards. As a Custodian , you will perform some of the following duties: Clean and disinfect all substances, spills and/or accidents. Pick-up and deliver bio-hazard waste and sharps to designated secure storage area. Disinfect patient wards when infectious disease outbreaks occur. Sweep, dust, mop, and/or buff hard surfaces. Vacuum and spot clean carpets and remove trash. Scrub, rinse and refinish floors; clean, shampoo and extract carpets and upholstered furniture. Clean and maintain custodial equipment.
