Status: Seasonal, Non-Exempt Starting Wage Range: $17.39/hr. 1st year $17.65/hr. 2nd year $17.93/hr. 3rd year $18.21/hr. 4th year $18.48/hr. 5th year Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 4:00pm Position Open Until Filled: Essential Functions: - Performs general highway maintenance and related activities as assigned, clearing brush, hauling materials, flagging traffic, roadway vegetation control, trash, and building and facilities maintenance repairs. - Operates equipment as required, including but not limited to, trucks, tractors, lawnmowers, and similar equipment of comparable size and complexity. - Operate various hand tools. - Ensures all activities are carried out in a safe manner; adheres to all County safety regulations; assists co-workers in the safe handling of equipment; ensures equipment is safely operated and driving laws are obeyed; ensures all regulations pertaining to the safe use of equipment are understood and followed. - Report all accidents to the appropriate authority.
