Job Summary: BDO is seeking an Internal Controls Consultant to support federal government agencies with Internal control assessments, audit readiness, government audits, and process improvement duties. The individual in this role will help in identifying, documenting, and assessing risk and internal controls in accordance with various federal laws, regulations, and standards, while making suggestions to mitigate risk and improve internal controls and processes. The Consultant will identify and assess risk at the enterprise level and business process level, and will assess various financial reporting, operational and entity level processes, and controls in accordance with Office of Management and Budget (OMB)\ Circular A-123 (including its appendices) and Government Accountability Office (GAO) Green Book.
