The Data Engineer supports the organization’s data needs by ensuring secure, reliable, accurate, and accessible data across all business units. This includes stewardship and maintenance of enterprise data assets, modeling and integration of data from systems of record, and support for analytical and reporting capabilities. Data team members partner directly with business units, business analysts, and data stewards to interpret requirements, ensure data accuracy and governance, and deliver high quality analytics solutions. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise data stack using both on premises and cloud native components, with a goal of being entirely cloud native in the future.
