Job Title: ASB & Enforcement Officer (2 posts) Salary: £39,027 - £44,463 per annum Band: E: Permanent Contract: 37 Hours per Week Thurrock Council's dedication to tackling environmental crime saw its Environmental Enforcement Officers named Team of the Year at the Keep Britain Tidy National Awards in February 2020. Thurrock Council’s ASB & Enforcement Team are looking to recruit two innovative and ‘can do’ ASB & Enforcement Officers to deliver a wide range of enforcement activities to bring about local improvements for the communities in Thurrock. In this challenging role you will working collaboratively with internal and external partners to tackle Enviro-crime and Anti-Social Behaviour issues across the borough, proactively responding to a high level of customer service demand. Knowledge of Enforcement is essential including, The Environmental Protection Act 1990 and Highways Act 1988, Refuse & Disposal Amenity Act 1978, Clean Neighbourhoods Environment Act 2005 and the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
