Job description

Description The Mechanical Engineer will design and test all aspects of mechanical equipment and machinery related to the energy and industrial markets. Duties and Responsibilities: - Designs products such as chemical injection units, hydraulic power units, Air compressor packages, Diesel/Natural Gas Generator Skids, process systems, utility packages, pressure vessels, & structural skid frames etc. - Works with a design team to generate project deliverables such as process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, hydraulic schematics, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings. - Responsible for generating project deliverables such as Bill of materials, equipment lists, sizing calculations (hydraulic analysis, pressure safety valves, lifting lug analysis) and testing procedures including but not limited to leak testing, flushing, factory acceptance testing procedures. - Sizing and specification of instrumentation, control valves, positive displacement pumps and other components and completion of system calculations are a mandatory requirement. - Perform mechanical design and fabrication for various types of packaged equipment and modules including conceptualization, material s...
