What You'll Be Doing Job Scope: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the plant maintenance department, engineering, capital, and parts/purchasing for the plant. The position will administer onsite policies and procedures to establish and promote safe and healthy working conditions while ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations and site Safety Program Requirements. Manage the maintenance department to minimize plant delay, waste, and board cost. Assist with investigation and diagnosis of operating and maintenance problems and implement appropriate corrective measures. Manage the engineering program to administer and control all capital and major maintenance projects from conception to timely, cost contained completion. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Actively develop, implement and participate in all safety programs, rules and procedures. Manage maintenance department equipment and personnel to minimize delay, waste, and board cost. Maximize plant uptime by reviewing delay analysis from production/maintenance logs and implementing corrective actions. Search out new technology/methods for improving maintenance practices.
