Community Engagement Assistant (CEA), Pre-Collegiate Program

Job description

The Pre-Collegiate Program Community Engagement Assistant (CEA) is responsible for providing mentorship and support for the experiential, co-curricular, and academic components of the Pre-Collegiate Program. This position will live in the residence hall along with program students, and be engaging, visible, and accessible to students and the program throughout its duration. CEAs will be responsible for regularly checking in with an assigned group of students and ensuring the safety of all participants as well as creating, coordinating, and implementing extracurricular activities and supervising students at those and other program-related activities. In addition, the CEA upholds the values, policies, and procedures of the College and the Pre-Collegiate Program. Build community through planning and implementing community building activities for participants including eating meals with participants. Support program faculty with in-class needs, including group work, class assignments, and technology.
