About the unit The surgical intensive care unit is a 13-bed unit specializing in the pre and post-operative care of the neurological, neurovascular, cardiovascular, general surgical and traumatic injury patient population. Under the leadership of our surgical intensivists, our highly trained team provides multi-disciplinary patient and family centered care, promoting a safe healing environment for our critically ill patients.
