PRIMARY FUNCTION: Set-up and operate Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and automatic inert gas (plasma) welding equipment to buttweld tube sections together. Grinds welds smooth; welds wear beads utilizing automatic Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) process and straightens tubes, all in accordance with approved weld procedure specifications. TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: Automatic and manual Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and automatic inert gas (plasma) welding equipment, weld control, stationary power grinders, belt sanders, special purpose fixtures, stone saws, overhead crane, steel tape, micrometers, ring gauges, straightening presses hand grinders, wire cutters, wire brush, chipping hammer, level and square, od polisher MATERIALS: Ferrous & non-ferrous materials, bare welding wire, Tungsten electrodes, fastig flux, methl ethyl ketone (MEK) SOURCE OF SUPERVISION...
