As a Safety Engineer Intern at Concrete Strategies, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our workforce and promoting a culture of safety across all construction projects. Your internship will provide you with hands-on experience in implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and fostering a secure environment for everyone involved. We are hiring interns for travel positions and project based as well as regionally based. We have regional offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Des Moines, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Seattle. Our compensation range for interns is: $20-$22/hour. During your internship, you'll have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to: - Safety Inspections: Assist in conducting regular safety inspections on construction sites, identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. - Risk Assessment: Learn to assess potential risks associated with various construction activities and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks. - Safety Training: Participate in safety training sessions and workshops, helping to educate workers on proper procedures, equipment usage, and emergency protoco...
