Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Database Services Finance

Job description

The AWS Database Finance organization needs a finance professional to provide financial planning and analysis for Database Services. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to drive strategic financial planning and analysis. This role owns full P&L controllership with cloud infrastructure knowledge to plan revenue growth, capacity planning for internal and external customers, Pricing, and margin improvements. Key job responsibilities: - Full P&L controllership - Lead comprehensive revenue planning analysis including demand forecasting, resource allocation modeling, and scalability assessments to support both current operations and future growth - Own end-to-end pricing strategy formulation including competitive analysis, margin optimization, and pricing model recommendations that balance profitability with market competitiveness - Lead the annual financial planning cycle including revenue forecasting, expense budgeting, headcount planning, and variance analysis reporting - Collaborate directly with business leadership to provide financial insights that drive decision-making for both internal operations and external customer-facing initiatives - Identify, quantify, and i...
