The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine seeks a full-time registered dietitian specializing in pregnancy and postpartum to provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition guidance to support maternal health and fetal development, assisting with creating meal plans, managing pregnancy conditions including healthy weight gain, management of nausea symptoms and food aversions, gestational diabetes, and optimizing intake of essential nutrients during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. This position requires a level II Background check and drug screen. This position is grant funded. - Personalized Nutrition Plans: Develop tailored diet plans based on the individual's preferences, cultural needs, and specific health requirements. - Nutrient Guidance: Educate patients on the importance of key nutrients like iron, calcium, folic acid, and protein during pregnancy and lactation - Condition and Symptom Management: Provide dietary interventions for pregnancy-related conditions including gestational diabetes, anemia, nausea, reflux, constipation and food aversions. - Healthy Weight Management: Help patients achieve and maintain a healthy weight g...
