Associate R&D Chemist

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Undertake projects, guided by R&D Chemists, to develop new grease formulations. Produce laboratory and pilot scale batches of grease and oils to support new product development. Complete testing on samples as required to ensure products meet customer requirements. Research grease formulation chemistry and applications, applying learnings to new projects. Keep organized and detailed records of laboratory work, using laboratory notebooks, electronic media and SAP. Preparation and presentation of scientific reports based on laboratory work. Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment. Coordinate with R&D Chemist and Field Staff external pilot and or field trials of product technology. Qualifications: BSc or MS Degree in Chemistry, Tribology Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science or related field of study ( preferred). 0 to 2 years of experience in industrial research. Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft 365, Lotus Notes, SAP- preferred. Ability to learn and operate a wide variety of laboratory equipment.
