Job description

Description The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing and shipping of client goods in Dachser USA warehouses. - Responsible for coordination of receiving incoming goods, storing goods, picking/packing goods, releasing goods from storage and loading goods for transport. - Performs common warehouse tasks, such as cleaning the warehouse, performing common building maintenance & safety checks of equipment. - Operates a forklift according to safety requirements. - Accounts for warehouse inventory by making accounting entries using Dachser internal operating systems and methods. - Collaborates with all departments within the branch and the company at large, as necessary. - Performs other duties as required and assigned. Requirements: - High school diploma or its equivalent. - 1 year of experience working in a warehouse setting preferred. - 1 year of freight forwarding or logistics experience preferred. - Prior experience operating a forklift. Valid forklift certification preferred. - Experience in working with Radio Data Driven Warehouse Management Environment preferred. - Demonstrated language proficiency (oral, comprehension and written) in English.
