A Custom Machine Builder for our Custom Automation facility will be responsible for general fabrication and assembly of material handling equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is assembly, other duties may include fabrication, welding and painting of projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Automation shop equipment as needed. Shift: - 1st shift Job Functions: - Follow QMS as applicable and corporate level policies. - Ability to assemble machines from interpreting engineering assembly prints - Assemble equipment from fabricated parts, including weldments - Ability to set up and operate saws, shear, press brake, punches. Ability to calibrated measuring devices and utilize hand tools for fabrication tasks - Produce high quality assemblies with low rejection rate - Execute required tasks in an effective manner and have craftsmanship in all aspects of job - Take direct...
