City/State Woodbridge, VA Work Shift: Multiple shifts available Provider Specialty: Primary Care Overview: The Physician Resident at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA participates in a structured graduate medical education program designed to provide comprehensive clinical training and professional development. Under the supervision of attending physicians, the resident delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while progressively assuming greater responsibility for clinical decision-making and patient management. Qualifications: - Provide direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of attending physicians. - Perform patient evaluations, including obtaining medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and developing differential diagnoses. - Order, interpret, and document diagnostic tests and procedures. - Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. - Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation in the electronic medical record. - Participate in on-call rotations, rounds, and patient care conferences. - Engage in educa...
