SUMMARY: The DOF will oversee the finance and accounting functions of the MVP Arena and Parking Garage. Directly supervising Finance Department employees in the day-to-day functions involved in proper facility accounting. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legend’s policies and applicable laws. Includes oversight of the Box Office. These responsibilities and tasks are coordinated with the General Manager, as well as Legend’s Regional Director of Finance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and Legends policies and procedures. Monitors Legends compliance with all provisions of the management contract. Manages the Finance and Box Office teams. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Maintains contact with Legends’s Risk Management Department and Insurance broker for coordination of appropriate coverage.
