The position involves state-of-the-art research development in quantum technologies and involvement in the EU Horizon project EQUIP-G, aiming to strengthen the European community around quantum gravimetry. The position is associated with the division of Geodesy and Earth Observation (GEO), which has a long history of research in geodesy and strong competencies in Arctic logistics and airborne geophysical observations. The gravity research group has conducted airborne gravimetry since the 1990’s and has an annual work program to maintain and develop the geodetic reference networks of Denmark and Greenland related to gravity and height systems. Responsibilities and qualifications: The position includes significant involvement in the EQUIP-G project with work packages related to community building, arranging workshops, and data management, along with the procurement and deployment of commercial quantum gravity sensors, with two field campaigns planned for 2028. The postdoc is expected to contribute significantly to this project within the subject of on-board sensors, including grav...
