Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time MFM Sonographer to work with our Maternal Fetal Medicine Department. MFM Sonographers are responsible for ensuring and providing quality services in all US tests & procedures performed at the main Perinatal center, 3North and PNC-MU locations of Cabell Huntington Hospital. Primary responsibilities include: - Receiving, clarifying and/or confirming orders - Accurate and timely documentation of procedures/tests - Competent understanding and operation of all US equipment - Understanding and performance of Disinfection and quality control procedures. - Mentoring students and fostering an atmosphere of learning - Participating in collection and reporting of data used in performance and process improvement activities Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Junior College/Technical School required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Registered sonographer (ARDMS) required. - OB registry required. - NT/NB certification preferred. - Maternal fetal medicine experience preferred.
