Performance Automation Software Engineer

Long Description Job Description: We are seeking a Performance Automation Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain internal software tools used to measure, analyze, and improve the performance of NetApp’s ONTAP™ storage operating system. In this role you will also work to connect Performance Engineering with AI by leveraging GenAI and related technologies to modernize existing automation tools and processes. What You’ll Do: •Develop and maintain automation frameworks used for system performance measurement and validation •Implement features and enhancements through the full software lifecycle: design, coding, testing, and support •Diagnose and resolve issues in existing automation tools and workflows •Leverage Generative AI technologies to improve performance debugging, log analysis, and data interpretation •Build and maintain clear, user friendly dashboards for performance metrics •Collaborate with performance engineers and senior developers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions •Communicate status, risks, and technical findings clearly to team members and stakeholders Required Qualifications: •Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structu...
