The perfect candidate is someone who has already taught swim lessons for at least 3 summers, is eager to learn new techniques, has an outgoing, positive attitude and loves working with children. Job Location : Safe 2 Swim - Aiken, SC Position Type : Part Time, Starting May 2024, 15-30 hours per week, make your own hours! What do Swim Instructors at Safe to Swim do? ● Teach Private swim lessons, 2-3 swimmer semi-private learn-to-swim lessons, and Parent and Me group lessons.● Engage every swimmer in the lesson routine.● Encourage hesitant swimmers to try new skills.● Evaluate swimmers at the beginning and end of every session.● Communicate with parents before and after lessons on progress, future skills, and tips outside the pool.● Attend all staff meetings and training.● Organize basic cleaning of the pool area before and after lessons as needed.● Be personally committed to swimmer retention and satisfaction through personal contact and communication with participants and their families.
