Certified Pedorthist (CPed) Position Overview: Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is seeking an ABC Certified Pedorthist (CPed) to deliver therapeutic footwear, custom foot orthoses, and pedorthic devices within a collaborative healthcare clinic environment. This role focuses on evaluating foot and lower extremity pathology, applying lower extremity biomechanics principles, and providing shoe modifications and orthotic insoles to improve mobility, comfort, and long-term function. The Certified Pedorthist partners with physicians, podiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to support patients through evidence-based pedorthic treatment plans. This position requires strong clinical documentation practices, Medicare Therapeutic Shoe Program familiarity, durable medical equipment (DME) workflow knowledge, and patient education skills. As part of a comprehensive prosthetics and orthotics practice, the CPed contributes to rehabilitation services, mobility solutions, and referral relationship development while maintaining compliance with ABC certification standards and applicable state regulations.
