Compensation: $18.22 - $22.79 Compensation Type: Hourly Employment Type: Regular Grade: Position Summary Assists students, either individually or in small groups, in the review of course material, solving problems and preparing for tests. Duties & Responsibilities: - Assists students in reviewing course material and problem-solving. - Contributes to a supportive, cordial learning environment. - Coordinates and/or conducts workshops and study groups for students. - Conducts marketing activities such as class visits and new student orientations. - Serves as a communication link and faculty liaison. - Guides students in selecting and using material to meet learning needs. - Maintains a weekly calendar of available hours for student appointments. - Maintains instructional materials (e.g., textbooks, calculators, software, etc.). - Collects and analyzes data. - Participates in required tutor training. - Provides supervision in the absence of a Learning Center Supervisor as delegated and assists TLC Management with recruiting, screening, hiring, orienting, mentoring, and retaining new peer (student), and/or volunteer tutors. - Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assign...
