Description Summary: The Data Lake Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, availability, and operational health of the enterprise AWS-based data lake platform. This role focuses on day-to-day management, access governance, monitoring, and support of data lake services while partnering with engineering, analytics, and security teams to ensure reliable and compliant data operations. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain the AWS data lake environment, with Amazon S3 as the primary storage layer. - Manage data governance, permissions, and access controls using AWS Lake Formation and IAM. - Administer and monitor AWS Glue jobs, crawlers, catalogs, and scheduled workflows. - Support and maintain serverless and orchestrated workflows using AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions . - Manage compute and supporting services including Amazon EC2 and EKS used for data processing workloads. - Configure and maintain integrations and event notifications using Amazon SNS and service integrations. - Monitor system health, job execution, alerts, and logs; perform troubleshooting and incident resolution. - Apply and enforce networking and security controls , including VPC c...
