Medical Assistant/Technician Medical Surgical - Multispecialty - Queens Medical Group A Medical Assistant performs a variety of clinical and clerical functions, in accordance with established policies and procedures, to assist the practitioners and management in daily office operations. In this role, you will: Educate and prepare patients for procedures, including reviewing preparation instructions, answering questions, and ensuring patient understanding and compliance. Observe the patient’s condition, report abnormal conditions to the staff nurse, and record appropriate documentation in the patient’s records.
