The BIM draftsman will be responsible for creating shop drawings, spool sheets and itemized reports for material purchasing. - Work-life balance - Career advancement opportunities - A great manager and/or team - A compelling work culture - A sense of purpose Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Transform construction document designs into constructible shop drawings for field install - Work directly with the project management team to meet project needs - Stay up to date on industry standards and local codes - Utilize AutoCAD to create custom reports for material acquisition - Work with other department employees to provide a smooth transition between the design and construction phases of a job - Flexibility to visit jobsites to capture field conditions for use in the design phase of projects Job Requirements: Educational Requirements: A.A.S. in Drafting and Design or greater is preferred Experience Requirements: 2 years in a construction trade Required Skills and Abilities: - Proficient in Microsoft O...
