Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy Anchor/Reporter to join our morning team. This role is ideal for a take-charge journalist who thrives in a fast-paced, live environment and brings creativity, urgency, and strong editorial judgment to every broadcast. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary Live Desk Anchor during our morning show, delivering breaking news and developing stories with clarity, accuracy, and urgency - Provide live updates and continuous coverage as stories evolve throughout the broadcast - Report and produce general assignment stories as needed - Step into the field as a live reporter as needed , delivering compelling, on-the-ground coverage - Anchor a one-hour daily ARC (Authentic, Relevant, Community) program following the morning show, focusing on meaningful community-driven content - Collaborate with producers and newsroom leadership to develop fresh, engaging content and segments - Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall morning show experience Qualifications: - Actively engage with audiences across digital and social platforms - Create and contribute content that aligns with current social media trends - Demonstrate st...
