Job description

Location: Medical Center-Prosper Department: Transport-Ground Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 36 Summary: The RN, Transport will function as a team member while upholding the mission, vision and values of Cook Children's Health Care System. This person will work in collaboration with RTs and Paramedics, in providing cares to the Neonatal and Pediatric population in all modes of transport, including ground ambulance, rotor wing and fixed wing aircraft. This person must possess critical thinking skills while practicing sound judgement throughout the transport process in varied settings. The RN, Transport will be self-motivated and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills. This position will eventually be based out of our Prosper location but until that location is ready this person would be based out of Meacham Airport with our Transport Team. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum of 3 year recent Neonatal and/or Pediatric ICU and/or Pediatric Emergency Department experience or current Neonatal/Pediatric Transport experience.
