Veterinary Specialty Hospital by Ethos Veterinary Health is a large, state of the art 24-hour Specialty and Emergency Hospital located in sunny San Diego just minutes from the beach! Our hospital is proud to be an accredited member of AAHA as well as a VECCS Level I Emergency & Critical Care facility. We are dedicated to our clients and community, the veterinary profession, and our team. We currently have full-time openings for our Veterinary Assistant Training program. This is a temporary 6 month paid training program beginning Spring/Summer 2026. The Veterinary Assistant will complete a formal program with a blended curriculum of online and hands-on training that is designed to prepare the Veterinary Assistant to sit for a national exam administered by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). Upon successful completion of this exam, you will receive the credential of Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA).
