Performs routine maintenance and diagnostic checks to ensure vehicles operate under the conditions in which they were designed. Must have ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. Perform preventative maintenance on light County vehicles including Sheriff pursuit vehicles and EMS Ambulances Perform all diagnostic inspections and drivability inspections on vehicles and ambulances Perform special projects as needed in shop Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Two years’ experience performing oil changes, tire inspections, and brake inspections, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies.
