South Region Energy Analyst - 26000653 Description Job Overview: The South Region Energy Analyst supports the South Region Energy Director and the LGUS Natural Gas Originator by managing billing, accruals, and analytical activities. This role oversees accruals and invoice processing; supports contracting efforts with Legal and external consultants; and delivers timely reporting and insights to senior leadership. The Analyst collaborates closely with Product Management, Regional Management, and external partners, and works with Digital teams to develop tools that help manage the region’s natural gas and power portfolios, as well as customer slates. Other Duties Include: Monitor, analyze, and interpret U.S. natural gas market trends, pipelines, pricing structures, and regional supply/demand fundamentals. Provide deep market insights specific to Texas and Louisiana, including ERCOT power markets and Gulf Coast energy dynamics. Support the South Region Energy Director and Natural Gas Originator with market analysis, commercial evaluations, and portfolio management.
