The Supervisor, Bill Processing is responsible for leading and directing the Bill Processing (BP) team, ensuring the timely and accurate auditing and processing of medical bills, meeting all regulatory timeframes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead and direct bill processing team to ensure timely turnaround and accurate adjudication of medical bills - Monitor workloads, productivity and quality to maximize operational effectiveness and to ensure timely, effective and efficient processing of medical bills. - Utilize reports to track and trend data, improve team efficiency, identify problem areas and offer recommendations as needed - Instruct and counsel team members on new regulations, processes, procedures and responsibilities.
