Job description

SUMMARY: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all aspects of industrial/manufacturing equipment and machinery. Including electrical and electronic system. Knowledge of Electrical distribution systems for voltage below 600V. Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and NFPA 79 codes specific to industrial manufacturing equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Inspect and test machinery and equipment as required to ensure proper function daily. - Troubleshoot machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with operators or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. - Work with other team members and departments to review functions of machines and equipment to facilitate repairs and maintenance. - Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. - Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. - Replaces and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. - Mastery of reading blueprints, electrical or hydraulic schematics and oth...
