Communications Specialist

Job description

Objective: The Communications Specialist supports the development and execution of clear, consistent, and engaging communications for The Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) certification programs. This role is responsible for producing high-quality content across multiple channels to enhance the candidate experience, support global stakeholders, and ensure accuracy and consistency across certification-related materials. Operating with moderate supervision, the Communications Specialist brings strong writing, editing, and organizational skills to deliver communications that align with The IIA’s brand, strategy, and global audience needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop, edit, and manage candidate-facing communications across multiple formats, including: - Direct candidate emails and announcements - Social media content, blogs, and promotional messaging - Video scripts and podcast coordination - Maintain and enhance website content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with current program offerings - Support the development and maintenance of key certification documents, including: - Candidate Handbook (including translations and version control) - Certifica...
