Research Engineer I

Job description

What You’ll Do: - Implement solutions in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Golang). - Support research system development using best practices in design and engineering. - Work closely with senior researchers to translate domain-specific requirements into implemented systems. - Develop and test applications, tools, and research prototypes. - Gather and analyze data to evaluate system performance and application effectiveness. - Contribute to technical documentation, presentations, and research publications. - Stay current with emerging technologies through research publications, tutorials, and conferences. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external research partners. Required Qualifications: Education: - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field - Combined education and experience may substitute for minimum education requirements Experience: - Less than 1 year to 3 years of relevant experience Technical Skills: - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, C++, Golang) - Experience working in Linux environments - Experience with Virtual LAN (VLAN) and/or Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) Experience with...
