Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced and well‑rounded Senior Counsel to support the company’s business operations at our Reston, VA headquarters. Reporting directly to Peraton’s Chief Legal Officer, this role partners closely with corporate leadership and business sector teams to provide strategic legal guidance across the broad range of subject matters that arise in the daily operations of a government contractor. Areas of focus include government and commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, labor and employment, intellectual property, internal investigations, and litigation. Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary legal counsel for assigned Peraton business sectors. - Provide front-line legal advice and support on a wide range of activities, including: - Contracting: proposals, prime and subcontract agreements, and other specialized agreements - Employment: screening, counseling, internal investigations, and adverse action matters - Intellectual Property: commercial licensing, agreements, and technical data rights - Compliance: corporate governance, training, internal investigations, and external regulatory reporting - Litigation: contract disputes, bid prote...
