JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Responsible for technical, administrative and oversight functions in support of field telecommunications construction activities. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as a lead on information technology initiatives affecting Entergy’s telecommunications resources. Resolve complex technical and operational problems through experience and coordination of efforts with Entergy personnel, customers and vendors. Recommend, plan, schedule and oversee construction and modification of telecommunications infrastructure, systems and services. Conduct Safety and QA checks on contractors performing construction work as part of Entergy Telecom’s project portfolio. Assists with developing and maintaining regional Capital &O&M budgets. Maintain familiarity with applicable regulations and ensure compliance with applicable requirements, regulations, procedures, and specifications.
