Air Freight Import Specialist

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Air Freight Import Specialis t to manage end-to-end air import operations while ensuring seamless coordination across our global network and local stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in delivering operational excellence, maintaining compliance with international trade regulations, and providing high-quality service to our customers. Your Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate inbound air freight shipments from origin to final delivery, - Monitor shipment status, flight schedules, transit times, and arrival updates, - Handle operational issues such as delays, damaged cargo, and missing documentation, - Review and process Air Waybills (AWB) and related shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.), - Prepare and ensure accuracy of documentation required for customs clearance, - Coordinate closely with customs brokers and ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and taxes, - Arrange bonded warehouse or temporary storage solutions when required, - Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status, arrival times, and delivery schedules, - Inform customers about charges, customs proced...
