Job description

The Grille at Middlebury College is looking for a part time employee (20 hrs./week). The shift is Wednesday through Sunday from 4pm to 8pm. We are looking for a food service/kitchen worker who is needed to perform a variety of functions in our kitchen to prepare the restaurant for service and to prepare food for other venues within the department. Ages 14+ may appl but there are restrictions of use on sharp tools, ovens and chemicals with employees below the age of 16. This is a part-time, non-benefited position with a starting wage of $16.94 per hour. Responsibilities may include: - Preparing fruits and vegetables for use, washing, peeling, chopping, and more. - Always maintaining a clean and tidy workstation. - Stocking various items in preparation for future shifts. - Notifying the manager on duty of any out of date or rotting food. - Prepares sandwiches, wraps, salads and more for Grab n Go options. - Loads soiled dishes, pots, pans, containers and more into the dish machine and unload them when they have finished the wash cycle. - Must follow sanitation guidelines. - Unloads and stacks dishes in appropriate storage areas. - Sweeps and mops kitchen, dish room area and walk-ins....
