Job description
The Supervisor is a field position but has some flexibility on the home office with Conyers, Riverdale and Macon, GA. The purpose of this position is to supervise the Corrosion Control functions and Corrosion technicians for all the company’s pipeline and facility infrastructure within the assigned area of operation. Through subordinates, contractors, and other departmental personnel, this position will ensure that the company’s Procedures, Engineering Standards, and best practices meet all applicable code and regulatory requirements. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Corrosion Supervisor Position is accountable for, but not limited to the following: Business Execution - Directs the work of Corrosion Technicians and contractors to ensure safe and efficient work execution. - Ensures compliance survey data (i.e., annual test points, isolated services, casings, bonds, foreign crossings, rectifiers, atmospheric inspections, etc.) is performed and properly documented according to all applicable codes, standards, and procedures. - Troubleshooting of Corrosion Control related components (i.e., low systems, rectifiers, interference areas, shorted conditions, etc.) is performed, documented...
