Overview The Field Communications Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting field-based communication and networking systems that support operational infrastructure. This role works hands-on with wireless communication equipment, networking devices, and power systems in outdoor environments. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, technically skilled, and comfortable working independently in remote field locations. Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain field communication equipment including: - Wireless radios (e.g., Hitachi TropOS, Cambium point-to-multipoint systems) - Network switches and connectivity hardware - Surveillance and security camera systems - Solar-powered systems and related components - Perform minor electrical work, primarily involving 24V and 48V DC systems - Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and network issues in a timely and efficient manner - Create, update, and manage service tickets with accurate and detailed information - Maintain clear and thorough documentation of installations, repairs, and system changes - Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and operational standards Qualification...
