The role Due to our continued growth, Piper Alderman is seeking a talented Senior Associate - Special Counsel with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience to join our Commercial group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial and property-related work nationally. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate property agreements for commercial, rural, and residential contracts - Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions and sales - Advise clients on legal aspects of commercial real estate transactions - Development & strata titling, Body Corporate & Community Management advice - Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of property and commercial transactions - Mentor and coach junior employees To succeed in this role, you will ideally have: - 5+ years’ PQE with experience in commercial property - Strong understanding of property law, conveyancing, and lease agreements across commercial, residential, and rural sectors - Excellent contract drafting and analytic thinking - Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients - Strong interpersonal and communication skil...
