The rabies program consists of receiving/sending emails regarding animal bites and exposures (bats), maintaining records, contacting victims, and preparing specimen (heads) for testing. Sanitary Nuisance investigation consists of responding to citizen complaints on environmental issues affecting community health and safety. Swimming pools inspections. The incumbent in this position may be required to use vehicles owned, leased, or operated by the state or county to conduct official state business.
