Job Summary: The Level 1 Tank Trailer Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our food-grade tank trailers. Under the supervision of experienced technicians this position is responsible for basic maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs of our specialized tank trailers. Essential Job Functions: Conduct routine inspections to ensure the cleanliness and integrity of food-grade tank trailers Conduct inspections to ensure all Mechanical, Electrical, and Attachment systems are in accordance with DOT and WDT requirements Assist in the cleaning and sanitization of tank interiors following industry standards Perform basic maintenance tasks such as brake adjustments, tire changes, and lighting repairs Assist senior technicians in making minor repairs and adjustments Maintain accurate records of maintenance and cleaning activities Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and federal and state regulations at all times Use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; and calling for repairs...
