Catholic Social Services is currently seeking a Part time, 12 hours per week, Child & Youth Care Worker in EDMONTON to join our Goretti House team. Providing excellent client-centered care, you are confident, thoughtful, and motivated to achieve success when supporting others in your community. This position has a weekly schedule of: Saturday Rotation: 10am-10pm Sunday Rotation: 10am-10pm OR 11am-11pm. Job application closing date: May 30, 2026. Program Overview Goretti House is a residential group care program for high-risk youth ages 15 to 22 that are pregnant and/or parenting. The youth have been exposed to substance, physical and mental abuse, sexual exploitation, physical/mental trauma, etc. This program supports youth to reduce their involvement in high-risk behaviours using harm reduction principles and practices including circle of courage philosophy, strength based and resiliency focused assessments, which promote empowerment and stabilization. With counselling and support, clients work on developing skills to manage the high-risk activities while working on personal goals to be able to transition to a Semi-independent Living (SIL) program or to a placement in the communit...
