Job description

The Governance Analyst contributes to the implementation of Aristocrat’s Enterprise Data Governance Framework, enabling trusted, well-managed, and compliant data across the organization. This role focuses on maintaining governance tools such as BigID and Alation, driving metadata quality, data ownership visibility, and compliance with data protection and management standards. The Governance Analyst serves as a key liaison between Data Governance, IT, Privacy, and Business teams to improve data transparency, quality, and accountability. Success in this role requires outstanding relationship management, multi-functional teamwork, and a proactive approach to improving governance processes. What You'll Do: Coordinate and maintain data governance tools, including BigID (data discovery, classification, and privacy compliance) and Alation (metadata and data catalog). Partner with business and IT team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation of data assets, business terms, and ownership assignments.
